Commissioning Strategy for Substance Misuse Services (Conwy, Denbighshire & Flintshire)

The Flintshire Substance Misuse Action Team’s overall priority is to prevent and reduce the level of drug and alcohol incidence in Flintshire. Their aim is to improve physical and psychological health and reduce levels of substance misuse and crime.

The team has been very proactive in developing drug awareness programmes with the local Deeside College. It is also working with the college to develop a Proof of Age scheme as part of its strategy of dealing with underage drinking.

The Flintshire Substance Misuse Action Team is made up of the following organisations
